Welcome to Jim’s Guitar Workshop!

My name is Jim and I’m a guitar tech based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. I do guitar repairs, setups, restringing, cleaning, fret levelling, wiring and all other general guitar tech jobs & guitar repairs.

I’m increasingly becoming known among my regulars for my Full Beans (TM) setup – well worth a look even if I do say so myself. I love working on Floyd Rose type floating trems too, so if you’re struggling to keep yours in tune, I can help. I work on:

Electric guitars of all types
Acoustic guitars of all types
Basses (electric and acoustic)
Sometimes ukuleles, mandolins and even banjos!

LOCATION & AREAS COVERED

As you’d expect, most of my clients are based in Leeds, but I also do work for people a little further afield such as Wakefield, Huddersfield, Castleford, Bradford, Barnsley, Harrogate, Wetherby and York. I’m easy to get to as well – just a few minutes drive from Junction 44 of the M1 (which is only a few minutes off Junction 29 of the M62). I have a small car park too, so you’ll always have somewhere to pull up.
